This Roman Villa was the first property out Rome. It is a beautiful and historic residence set in its own gardens, surrounded by secular pines and cypress trees.

Swimming pool. Comfortably and elegantly furnished with antiques and paintings by genuine masters. It is the home of Bernard, the author-host, Eleonora, his wife, and their children. Just 15 minutes by car and train from the centre of Rome.
Beneath the garden lie the remains of an ancient Roman Imperial villa.

Living room: comfortable seating for 19 people
T.V. room: seating for 5 people.
Dining room: seating for 10 people
Outside: dining table and barbecue.
Entertainment: TV * stereo system * CD * radio cassette * video player

COTTAGE: (sleeps 4-5)
Bed/ bathrooms: 1 twin * 1 double * 1 sofa bed in drawing room * 1 bathroom.
Kitchen items: fridge * washing machine * microwave
Living room: comfortable seating for 7 people.
Dining room: seating for 5 people
Outside: dining table and barbecue.
Entertainment: TV, cassette video player (movies, see below)

Commercial:
General: central heating * maid service included in the rent  * telephone in the villa (metered charges) * linen provided and changed weekly.
Booking periods: Preferably Sat. to Sat. There may be an extra charge for part weeks.
Meals prepared at home with a historic or regional theme available at approx. $24/person including wine.
